Welch Allyn® SureTemp® thermometry technology has long been the gold standard in handheld and integrated thermometer parameters, providing accurate, reliable readings. For use with all patients, it captures temperatures fast, approximately 4 to 6 s for oral, 10 to 13 s for rectal or pediatric axillary and 12 to 15 s for adult axillary. Concerned about cross contamination, the SureTemp® 690 is designed with patient safety in mind. It uses disposable probe covers and its oral/axillary and rectal probes and probe wells are interchangeable, so you can quickly disinfect as you switch between modalities.
